At Team ZiaBia, we know networking is vital in order to thrive in the Events Industry. As an events agency, staying connected with key partners and friends, from suppliers to our clients, allows us to deliver the best possible events. Whether it’s finding the latest trends, building relationships or simply staying visible, we’re committed to making sure we’re always one step ahead.

Why network?

For us, networking isn’t just about shaking hands and exchanging business cards. It’s about:

  • Business Visibility: Building relationships and meeting new people helps us stay top of mind when opportunities arise, whether it’s for future clients or collaborations
  • Supplier Relationships: Connecting with trusted suppliers ensures we have the best resources at hand to make every event we plan as successful as possible
  • Staying Updated: The events industry is constantly evolving – through networking, we stay informed about the latest venues, trends, innovations and best practices

At the heart of this, we feel effective networking supports our ability to deliver THE BEST events for our clients.

ZiaBia’s networking efforts

Our team have been busy attending a range of networking events this year. Each offers unique opportunities to grow and strengthen our professional connections. A few of our recent ventures include:

  • Vicki headed to RSVP Nottingham and Nottingham Business Networking Brunch. Here she’ll be meeting with like-minded professionals and expanding our networking in the region
  • Vicky and Paola are regulars at the Bristol Life networking lunches connecting with local businesses in our hometown
  • Poala and Ashton are beginning to attend Business West networking breakfasts this month
  • Rebecca regularly attends the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce events. Here she continues to build relationships with local businesses and discover new partnerships
  • Vicky recently joined in on the F*ck It event, where she immersed herself in a creative space filled with inspiration and exciting new contacts. She has also recently joined EVO Ultra
  • Kim is a regular at EVO Genesis so always comes back to work buzzing from chatting to her connections there
  • Ashton has attended and ‘subs’ at BNI Hawke based in Bristol where she continues to share what ZiaBia has been up to and builds on supplier partnerships
  • Team ZiaBia are proud Community Partners in the Bristol City Community Partnership programme. We regularly attend local networking events with fellow members

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! We believe in getting out there as much as we can to foster relationships and stay in the know about what’s happening in the industry.

Co-hosting Property Connect: building local connections

Our passion for networking has led us to co-host the Property Connect event, a monthly networking meetup in Bristol that connects local property businesses. Ashton and Vicky attend consistently, meeting with professionals in the property sector to explore new opportunities for collaboration. This allows us to expand our network scope and build meaningful partnerships with businesses outside the traditional events space.

As we continue to attend events, collaborate with amazing professionals, and grow our network, we’re eager to see what new opportunities and partnerships will come. Keep an eye out for where we’ll be next or get in touch to chat over a coffee about what services we can offer to streamline your company‘s next event!
