They say time flies when you’re having fun and I can’t believe I’ve been with ZiaBia for over 6 months now. I’ve learnt so much in this short period of time and still loads to discover!
Why ZiaBia?
For many years, I worked behind the scenes as a venue supplier, observing the energy and excitement of events from a distance rather than being directly involved. When I decided to take a new direction in my professional life, ZiaBia immediately stood out as my first choice.
I revisited their website and social media channels countless times. Each visit only strengthened my desire to be part of such an award-winning team. ZiaBia’s extensive range of event services offers a fantastic opportunity to broaden my knowledge of event planning. From sourcing venues to acting as an extension of the client’s team, the role provides both variety and depth. This allows me to contribute at every stage of the event journey.
My journey so far
I’ve had the opportunity to visit places I never imagined I’d see in person – Bath Racecourse, Silverstone, Bristol City Hall and ICC Wales to name just a few.
In just six months at ZiaBia, I’ve been involved in so many different aspects of event planning. From sourcing the perfect venues across Europe, to creating thoughtful gift ideas for delegates, to being onsite to welcome them, I’ve loved every moment of the experience.
Being part of the B Corp journey has been a real eye-opener. I said yes on day one to getting involved, and I’m so glad I did. It’s inspiring to contribute to such a meaningful cause and to be part of a global community making a positive impact.
The guidance, time and support the team invests in me to ensure I have the right tools, knowledge and resources is second to none. I truly feel supported and confident. I’m in good hands within this small but mighty team.
What’s next?
So much to look forward to in 2026, where do I even begin? The year has already started on a high, with the opportunity to be involved in an onsite event and take on even more administrative responsibilities.
As a company, we’ve welcomed several new clients, and I’m really excited to work closely with them to bring their events to life.

Absolutely! This is a group of women who truly look out for one another, both professionally and personally. The support and training they provide each other is genuinely inspiring. Additionally, it creates such a positive and empowering environment to be part of.
