Event format
A one-day pay-to-attend event for people working in the law sector – either from a law firm or a supporting organisation. The event comprised two keynote speakers, panel sessions and innovation showcases. There was also an exhibition and catering area. The day concluded with a sponsored drinks reception.
ZiaBia role
Initially ZiaBia were approached to consult on festival ideas and bringing the conference to reality. The next steps were to support securing a venue and advising on how to make the event financially viable. Once the venue was booked, we were engaged to manage the logistical elements. ZiaBia were also appointed to offer their expertise and guidance on putting together and selling exhibitor and sponsorship packages. ZiaBia were the lead agency and managed all communications with the venue, production company, sponsors/exhibitors and speakers. Also responsible for the budget management of the event and to keep track of income and expenditure.
Future collaboration
The aim of this year’s event was to consolidate BBLT’s place within the sector’s event calendar. There are already plans for a 2025 festival and conference, to which ZiaBia are already in conversation about partnering on and other events throughout the year.
